Main Events of the School during session:
- Session:
Academic session for all classes starts in April and ends in March each year.
Start: April End: March
- 1st term:
Three months: April, May August
- 2nd term:
Four Months: September, October, November, & December
- 3rd & Annual Term:
Three Months: January February March
- Annual Prize distribution ceremony:
Annual Prize distribution ceremony is organized in the month of April to honour position holder students in Annual Exams.
- Summer Vacations:
Two month: June & July
- Summer Camps:
Special summer camp classes for 9th & 10th class to improve preparation of Board Exams as per pattern & permissions by the Govt are arranged during summer vacations. No extra fee is charged for the summer camps
- 1st Term Exams:
In August after summer vacation, 1st term exams are taken. The date sheet of these exams is given already with the summer vacation work for better preparation.
- Cultural show:
Cultural festival is organized each year to celebrate different cultures in Pakistan and make students aware of it. This festival is organized in the month of October.
- School Trips:
RGS provide opportunity to its students to explore by arranging different study and picnic trips within and around the city. Science & Art and picnic trip is arranged in the last week of November.
- Milad:
Milad programs are also arranged occasionally but main Milad Program is organized in the Islamic month of Rabi-ul-Awal.
- 2nd Term Exams:
2nd term exams are taken in the month of December each year.
- Test Sessions:
Test Sessions are arranged in the months of January & February. These sessions are only for classes appearing in Board Examinations (i.e 9th & 10th).
- Science & Art Exhibition:
Science & Art Exhibition is arranged to develop the sense of creativity among the students. This exhibition is organized in the month of January.
- Pet show:
RGS organizes each year a pet show showing the value of love and care even to animals like pets. Pet show includes variety of animals kept as pet. This Pet show is organized in the month of February each year.
- Funfair:
A funfair is also organized in which teachers and students offer different food and other items stalls. This type of fun activity helps promoting student teacher relation.
- Farewell Party:
Each year a warm farewell is given to the 10th class students in celebration of their stay at school and saying good bye to them from school with bundle of best wished and prayers for their future life.
- Annual Exams:
RGS’s annual exams are taken at the end of the session in the month of March each year. The result is announced and students are promoted in next classes in the month of March to start new session from April each year.
